Private Lessons
I teach private violin and viola students of all ages and levels in person (New York City) and online (Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime), working individually with each student to:
establish clear and personalized goals
make plans and develop structures and tools towards achieving these goals
establish a wide range of practice techniques and strategies to maximize learning and minimize wasted time
explore varied repertoire that addresses students’ technical and musical needs

Chamber Music
As a violinist in the Argus Quartet, chamber music is central to my musical life. One of my favorite things is sharing my love of chamber music with students of all ages!
I have directed the String Chamber Music Intensive at the Sitka Fine Arts Camp and coached chamber groups at festivals and schools across the country, including:
University of Northern Iowa (with Argus Quartet)
Virginia Arts Festival (with Argus Quartet)
PhoenixPhest! Chamber Music Festival (cancelled due to COVID-19)
Pioneer High School Orchestra Camp (at Interlochen Center for the Arts)
Masterclasses & Workshops
I have given presentations and talks on a wide range of musical topics for audiences ranging from elementary schoolers to college students to retirement communities.
Subjects/workshops include:
general music appreciation (for any audience)
masterclasses in violin, viola, and chamber music
lecture-performances with in-depth exploration of the musical and historical context of the works performed
